Carpet came. It is 100 percent silk, it is 550 knots per sq inch and it was price competitive with wall to wall, I was anxious but the sale was effortless and the hand made carpet arrived 7 days after ordering it. wall because I bought direct from shimax hand knotted carpets in china. The prices are 15 percent higher than when I bought but ... still a steal compared to what you would pay here if you could find 100 percent silk and not just wool and silk blends. To be walking on silk in every rooom for a few thousand is a pretty sweet deal. I will post pictures when all the furniture is set up but basically It is the most beautiful rug I ever walked in my living room and silk is pretty easy on the feet!
